- Synopsis
- Sources and movement of beach material: introduction to the dynamics of inshore sediment circulation and some implications in terms of coastal morphology and management. Sediment sinks withdrawing sand from the coastal system are illustrated. Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, and an inland dam site, are used to emphasise the consequences of man’s interference with this coastal system.
