Relative Analgesia

Synopsis
Shows the safe sedation of dental patients by the inhalation of low concentrations of nitrous oxide. In two parts: 1) history of relative analgesia; theory of patient management; pharmacology of nitrous oxide; patient selection and pre-operative preparation; 2) an examination of the equipment available in the surgery for administration; a demonstration of relative analgesia on an adult and a child; the patients discuss with the presenters their reactions to the experience.
