Synopsis
A multimedia CD-ROM including movie clips, photographs, hypertext critical essays and primary documents on the novel ‘Rebecca’ by Daphne du Maurier and its film adaptation by Alfred Hitchcock and David O Selznick. The disk is designed for interactive flexible use in developing skills in cinema analysis, history and criticism through the examination of a single film and contains sections on authorship, feminist perspectives, genre, production, film clips, and marketing and publicity.
