Synopsis
18 extracts from feature films of the 1980s which illustrate aspects of filmmaking such as music, lighting and editing. Shows examples of the ways in which various sequences from film are put together to convey meanings, the ways in which a narrative is introduced, and the various methods of representation within cinema. Clips come from THE KILLING FIELDS, THE LONG GOOD FRIDAY, A ROOM WITH A VIEW and others. There is no narration.
