Synopsis
Explores elements in society which contribute to an ideology that supports rape. Legal definitions of rape are given. Prisoners (including rapists), researchers, counsellors, the public and victims give their point of view. Uses clips from films - FRENZY, LAST TANGO IN PARIS, BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID - to examine the social and individual effects of media images.
