Synopsis
Shot in 1977-78, documents the origins of punk rock from its beginnings on London’s pub rock circuit to UK chart domination. Looks at the anti-fashion statements of Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm MacLaren, and the media attention given the various groups, particularly the Sex Pistols. Includes music from the Sex Pistols, X Ray Spex, Generation X, The Adverts, Eddie and the Hot Rods,The Slits, and interviews with members of bands, record company bosses, club owners and fans.
