Powers of Ten (Cd-Rom)

Synopsis
An interactive essay on scale of space and time, inspired by the short film POWERS OF TEN (Ray and Charles Eames, 1968). Six interwoven journeys explore each power of ten in a different way: time - powers of ten in time; tools - and how we use them to understand each order of magnitude; people - who have closely studied each power of ten; the Eames approach - presenting an aspect of the Eames’ brothers’ ideas and work; patterns - different ways to slice time and space either vertically or horizontally.
