Powers of Ten (Cd-Rom)
- Synopsis
- An interactive essay on scale of space and time, inspired by the short film POWERS OF TEN (Ray and Charles Eames, 1968). Six interwoven journeys explore each power of ten in a different way: time - powers of ten in time; tools - and how we use them to understand each order of magnitude; people - who have closely studied each power of ten; the Eames approach - presenting an aspect of the Eames’ brothers’ ideas and work; patterns - different ways to slice time and space either vertically or horizontally.
