Synopsis

Studies combined heat and power (CHP), and district heating systems, and shows examples of both - Rotterdam, where a centrally situated power station, Schiehaven, has been converted to CHP and supplies how water to houses and flats in the city, and Malmö, Sweden, where the district heating network is linked to the refuse incinerator, the sewage works, and various industrial plant.
