Synopsis
In July 1988, 167 men were killed in the world’s worst oil industry disaster to date. Using interviews with eyewitnesses who were aboard the ‘Piper Alpha’ oil rig, questions the standards of design and engineering of oil rig platforms and attitudes to safety.
