Peege
- Synopsis
- 'Your laugh would always make me happy’. A young man whispers this to his aged grandmother, Peege, who, now blind and helpless, awaits death. Describes a family’s Christmas visit to their grandmother. Seen through the eyes of her oldest grandson, memories of the past when she was active and adventurous present the viewer with a vivid contrast to the present. Do we too often give up trying to communicate with disabled people like the rest of the family have done?
