Synopsis
Shows social workers how to make better use of written records and improve the quality of the recording. The video is set in an area team where the workers are engaged in child protection and negotiation care for older people. As the example cases unfold, graphics are used to highlight key issues and skills. Methods of shared recording are shown to be an essential part of good practice and the written record is seen to aid the client, the worker and the agency.
