Synopsis
Families of badgers, which are mainly nocturnal, are seen outside their setts in the New Forest going about their normal activities throughout the seasons. ‘Badger gates’ are seen in use. Also makes a plea for the protection of the badger as an interesting and useful example of British fauna.
