Ax Fight, The

Synopsis
Four views of a fight among the Yanomamo of Venezuela. The first is an unedited version of the fight as filmed by the cameraman soon after he arrived. The second is an analysis of the ritual context of the fight and the third discusses the influence of kinship. The fourth is an edited version of the fight. This combination gives the viewer an understanding of the complexities of Yanomamo culture and the complexities of film-making.
