New Approaches to Business Studies

Synopsis

Shows excerpts from a business studies lesson with fourth-year students. The class is part of the TVEI programme, and shows pupils doing project work in groups. Alison Cattell, the teacher, demonstrates how it is possible to use primary teaching methods in the secondary classroom. The students are highly motivated and autonomous, and clearly enjoy the work. Shot on location at Portslade Community College in East Sussex.
