Synopsis

Traces the development of the firm’s international activity to show changes in international trade and the associated human resource issues over the past century. Professor Nancy Adler of McGill University in Quebec and Professor Gordon Hewitt of the University of Michigan explore the company’s move from simple exporting to becoming a multi-domestic, multinational and global company.
