Astronomy in Prehistoric Britain

Synopsis
Introduction to the hypotheses of Alexander Thom on prehistoric observational astronomy. The method by which such observations might have been made is explained with the aid of diagrams and animation. The evidence in support of Thom’s idea is reviewed and its implications discussed.
