Assessment in Social Care: Assessing the ‘O’ Unit
- Synopsis
- Relates to th ‘O’ unit, which is the bedrock of the Awards in Care. It ensures that individuals are treated with equality and respect. This programme follows two real life case studies to show examples of the ‘O’ unit and how to access it alongside other units in the Awards in Care. The first study is filmed in a residential home for older people and illustrates the possibilities and issues of gathering evidence in this setting. The second study is with a worker who has clients with learning difficulties in the Asian community.
