Synopsis
A practical guide to the creation of lithographic prints. Follows Harvey Daniesl as he prints simple images off both stone and zinc plates. A voice-over explains the various stages of preparation, drawing and painting. Includes the preparation of stone and plate, graining, prepping, marking, etching, gumming, and printing off direct and offset presses. Shows multicoloured printing and collaboration with a commercial printer.
