Synopsis
Classic feature film in which a British soldier survives three wars and falls in love with three women. Roger Livesey is the colonel whose past life is revealed in flashback. The 2012 DVD release features the digitally restored version of the film. Extras include a 25-minute documentary featuring interviews with cinematographer Jack Cardiff, Powell and Pressburger biographer Ian Christie and fan of the film Stephen Fry, and a piece on the film’s restoration. Also available on Blu-Ray and dual format versions.
