Synopsis
The INSIDE BRITISH POLITICS series of seven programmes was compiled from an archive of material recorded by Granada Television since 1971. The presenter, the late John Mackintosh, was Professor of Politics at the University of Edinburgh and MP for Berwick and East Lothian.
This programme follows the passage of a directive through the EEC Council of Ministers to show the international constraints on a Government’s power. The example directive concerns waste disposal.
