Killer Algae

Synopsis
Story of how French marine biologist Alexandre Meinesz found the tropical algae ‘Caulerpa taxifolia’ in the Mediterranean off the coast of Monaco in 1989. The highly toxic plant spread wildly, killing the natural life of the sea bed. Follows Meinesz as he attempts to unravel the source of this alien algae, alert the authorities to the danger and find a solution.
