Explains the basic principles of continuous wave Doppler ultrasound. The instrumentation used in a typical ultrasound vascular clinic is then outlined. Concentrates on explaining the techniques of peripheral vascular diagnosis and illustrating typical Doppler sonograms. Covers lower limb arterial, lower limb venous, upper limb arterial carotid and orbit arterial and duplex investigations.
