Interprit: Self-Access Interpreting Program
- Synopsis
- Designed to offer self-access practice in interpreting. Interpreting is used primarily as a further means of acquisition of Italian and of general language awareness. Includes a recorded interview (sound & text) with a selection of exercises that students can follow in their own time to enable them to achieve a proficient degree of facility in intepreting than would otherwise be possible during class time. The same methodology can be adapted for any language and, at a lower level of linguistic competence, can be used to give students practice in note taking from oral sources.
