Integrated Games

Synopsis

Demonstrates how disabled pupils can be integrated into a wide range of games activities in accordance with the National Curriculum entitlement for all pupils to take part in physical education. Shows examples from various schools, with advice from teachers, support staff and sports development officers; examples of classroom practice; teaching strategies and styles; adaptation of rules and equipment; ‘new’ games; working in partnership with local authorities and disability sports organisations; using athletes with disabilities as role models.
