Infiltration of Local Anaesthetic

Synopsis
The programme is designed to be used by small groups for self-instruction. Students are asked, at intervals, to practise the technique they have just been taught. Illustrates the correct method of unwrapping the local anaesthetic pack and of loading the needle and cartridge into the syringe; then discusses the relevant anatomy using illustrations and a skull; finally, in the surgery, shows the giving of a local anaesthetic.
