- This report summarises the conclusions of the BBC Trust and BBC Executive’s joint review of BBC governance, and announces a series of changes to the working relationship between the Trust and Executive. The review was launched in September 2013 following a year in which the BBC came under the spotlight for various reasons, in particular the huge payoffs, in excess of contractual requirements, awarded to staff leaving the organisation; the Jimmy Savile scandal and the failure of the Digital Media Initiative.
