- Film Forever is the BFI’s plan for 2012-2017. It covers all BFI activity and will be funded by Grant in Aid from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and an anticipated increased share of National Lottery receipts, as well as relying on growth in earned income including fundraising and new entrepreneurial activity. The report emphasises a focus on three priority areas only: expanding education and learning and boosting audience choice; supporting the future success of British film; unlocking the national film heritage by prioritising digitisation and the making available of film from the BFI’s archive online.
