- Under the Terms of the BBC’s Charter and Agreement,the Trust has a duty of oversight of the World Service. This includes an annual performance review and independent research. The Trust takes a look at one or more services each year, carrying out rigorous research and analysis into its performance. This report, prepared for the BBC Trust by Kantar Media, summarises the findings of qualitative research into perceptions of the BBC Urdu Service in Pakistan among opinion formers. The research was conducted in November and December 2009.
