WEST SUSSEX RECORD OFFICE

Description
Since 1992 the Record Office has been a founding partner of the South East Film and Video Archive (SEFVA) (qv) and is its Repository and Conservation Centre. The Archive seeks to locate, collect, preserve and promote moving images made in or relating to the South East of England. There are now over 1,000 items in the Archive including newsreels, corporate documentaries, promotional material, and feature films from the Shoreham Film Studio. Of equal importance are the home movies and local footage from private collections.
