Description
The film & video held by Surrey History Centre forms part of the growing collection of archive and local studies material relating to the county of Surrey. All original films deposited with the centre are transferred to the South East Film & Video Archive (SEFVA, qv). Video copies of films relevant to Surrey are held at Surrey History Centre and are available for public viewing. Over 50 films available for viewing.

Also, new compilation VHS/DVD produced jointly with SEFVA (qv), "Surrey on Film 1914-1953: A Community in Peace and War" traces community life in thecounty from peacetime through the trauma of two world wars and closes with the coronation celebrations of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.
