Meridian News holds all edited items transmitted by former company (TVS) between 1982-1992, and by Meridian from 1993 to the present. This includes selected rushes and stock shots from stories relating to Kent, Sussex and parts of Essex. Separate news centres at Southampton and Newbury store material relating to the South and Thames-Valley areas of the Meridian region.

Conservation policy
To hold all cut items of news but not the news programme itself. Rushes are junked and tapes recycled after one month unless otherwise advised.
