Description

Film London is the new strategic agency for the film and media sector in London. Formed in March 2003 Film London has absorbed the roles of the London Film Commission (LFC) and the London Film and Video Development Agency (LFVDA) Film London invests in film production, exhibition and education and in the economic and industry development initiatives across the capital. The agency leads the drive to enhance London’s status as a world-class film location. The datastore holds records of over 12,000 locations, 15,000 crew and 8,000 facility companies and local services, and a further 20,000 useful contacts. The locations area covers mainly Greater London. The collection also includes the Home Counties and other parts of the UK for locations such as castles, country houses, farms, and rural and coastal features.
