- The Local History Centre collects all types of material relating to the history of Lewisham. It was established in 1960. The films held are two short length films on local events (copies supplied by BFI), a collection of 8mm films (49 reels) of local events (particularly boys’ clubs), holidays, etc., produced by Mr P. D. Dannatt, a local resident c.1937-1957, and four other 16mm films of local events. The centre also possesses four VHS videos of local plaque unveiling ceremonies and other local events.
