JISC Legal is involved in the setting up of a new shared legal service for universities and (in future) colleges. They have recently posted a call for help on their website to help give it a name.

The service will be along similar lines to JISC Legal, but with a much wider remit – it won’t restrict itself to particular areas of law, and it will offer specific legal advice and not just guidance.

They’re looking for a name that’s short – ideally a single word – and preferably not an acronym And, of course, it will need to be a name that isn’t already in use.
