Following the recent announcement that Avid is the new sponsor of the Student Production Awards at the Learning on Screen Awards 2011, the entry deadline for all categories has been extended.  It is hoped that this will provide interested prospective applicants with the opportunity to enter their productions.

The Learning on Screen Awards celebrate and reward excellence in the use of moving image and related media in learning, teaching and research.

The extended deadline for submissions is 5pm on Monday 17 January 2011.

All shortlisted entries will be showcased at the Learning on Screen Awards ceremony at the National Film Theatre (BFI Southbank), London on Thursday 24 March 2011.
