This classic documentary shows Professor Stanley Milgram’s experiments on obedience to authority. Subjects are instructed to administer electric shocks of increasing severity to other persons. Obedient and defiant reactions are shown and after the experiment the subjects explain their actions. This is the only authentic film footage of Milgram’s famous experiment. Produced by Stanley Milgram in the Department of Psychology, Yale University.
